Colombia and Ecuador formalize ties re-establishment

The governments of Colombia and Ecuador officially formalized the re establishment of bi national ties after almost three years of clashes. The announcement was made by both countries’ Foreign Ministers—María Angela Holguín from Colombia and her counterpart, Ricardo Patiño—, who met on Tuesday in Bogotá. After exchanging the credentials of their new ambassadors, the minister held a press conference. "With this step we are taking today we have fully established relations between the two countries”, said Holguín.
