Prosecutor general reveals that more than a 1000 reports of extrajudicial executions are being investigated

Colombian prosecutor general, Mario Iguarán, revealed yesterday that the unit for human rights at the prosecutor general’s office has received more than 1000 thousand reports of apparent extrajudicial executions. He also defended the work of his office saying that their statements concerning the case of disappeared people who were killed and presented as subversive fighters fallen in combat have not been hasty, as president Uribe has tried to show a couple of times.
