Bill Clinton Cuts a $2 Million Check for Shakira
Apr 01 -- Bill Clinton must be feeling generous! According to Televisa Espectáculos, the former President just donated a cool $2 million to Shakira for the youth-targeted nutritional programs she has established in Colombia.

President Clinton, who is traveling throughout Latin America to check up on projects supported by his Clinton-Guistra Sustainable Growth Initiative, flew to Shakira's hometown of Barranquilla on March 28 to visit the singer's school, El Colegio Fundación Pies Descalzos. Shaki's recently established school has developed a nutritional program for 1,600 children, and Clinton's donation, which Shakira's Pies Descalzos Foundation has promised to match within two years, will go directly towards helping students of the program.
