CLS at the Cartagena International Music Festival 2009
Jan 8 -- The City of London Sinfonia will perform as Resident Orchestra at the 3rd International Music Festival of Cartagena in Colombia from 10th - 17th January 2009.

Under the direction of American conductor Scott Yoo, CLS will give six performances during the eight-day festival. Leading Colombian professional musicians will play in the Orchestra, and CLS musicians will provide master-classes for promising Colombian students, as well as participate in educational projects in local schools.
The engagement of CLS musicians with Colombian musicians - both professional and amateur - is one of the most exciting aspects of the Orchestra's participation and a key factor in the event's ongoing success.
