Colombian Navy Seizes 1.2 Tons of Cocaine in Pacific
Apr 27 -- Naval maritime and air units seized 1.2 tons of cocaine being carried on speedboat off Colombia’s Pacific coast and arrested four suspects, the navy said on Sunday.

The cocaine was apparently going to be smuggled into an area in northern Panama, the navy said in a statement.
“Once the presence of the ship was detected, we moved to effect an interdiction operation with Pacific Naval Force maritime and air units, which prevented the shipment from going into international waters,” the navy said.
