Double-Homicide Fugitive Who Fled to U.S. Deported to Colombia
Sept 14-- Authorities say a Colombian national who fled to the United States to avoid serving a 35-year sentence for a 1994 double homicide in his home country has been deported to Colombia.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement reports that 41-year-old Raul Sanabria Castaneda was removed from the U.S. Friday.
ICE agents turned him over to Interpol agents at El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, Colombia.
Authorities discovered Castaneda after he was arrested in December on local battery and disorderly intoxication charges.
