Álvaro Uribe says perpetuating the President is inconvenient

Uribe made this statement yesterday in a forum organized by The Economist, answering to a question posed by one of the assistants regarding the possibility of a third presidential term. He also said that he is concerned about younger generations seeing him as a person attached to power, but added that he has a "responsibility with Colombians". Hours later, during another event, Uribe referred to the same topic saying that his "soul is at a crossroads". This is not the first time he refers to re-election in these terms.
