Antanas Mockus reaches second place in presidential polls

The Green Party presidential candidate Antanas Mockus reached up to 24.8 percent of the popular support in a poll released on Friday morning, following his political alliance with Compromiso Ciudadano candidate Sergio Fajardo, who will be his vice presidential formula. Mockus rise above Noemi Sanín from the Conservative Party. Juan Manuel Santos from the U party is still first with 29.5 % of the potential votes. After the result Mockus admitted he has Parkinson’s disease, but said the illness is under control and it won’t affect his mental capacity for at least the next 12 years.
