Awa Indians want to search for the corpses of killed natives themselves

On the 23rd of March, a group of 1,500 Awa Indians will go to the exact place where the FARC massacred members of that indigenous tribe to try and find the corpses of those who were murdered. The decision was taken since the rebel group have not yet handed back all the bodies.

In order to achieve that goal, the Awa natives want an international organization to supervise and accompany them and they have asked the Armed Forces to leave the area, which is currently full of landmines.
