Bicycles Could Be Part of Public Transportation in Colombia

Bogotá would be trying out the system in early 2010. City Councilmember Carlos Ferreira was recently in Spain where he met with prepaid bicycle system operators in Barcelona and Sevilla. A delegate will be traveling to Colombia in June to expose the advantages of such system and study its feasibility in Bogota. The prepaid bicycle system would become part of the city's Integrated Transportation System
