Candidates rejects Chávez meddling in presidential campaign

On Tuesday night, Juan Manuel Santos (U Party), Antanas Mockus (Green Party), Noemí Sanín (Conservative Party), Gustavo Petro (Polo), Rafael Pardo (Liberal Party) and Germán Vargas Lleras (Cambio Radical) held a TV debate, in which all agreed that Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez should not meddle in the 30 May elections. Santos and Mockus are leading all the latest polls with more than 30 percent of popular support.
