Catholic Church believes that government isn’t “taking the displaced seriously”

After saying that there’s an “alarming” number of over 3.8 million displaced people in Colombia, General Secretary of that country’s Episcopal Conference, Juan Vicente Córdoba, pointed out that displacement related issues “cannot be solved with wipes of warm water, or giving some land to a hundred families”. President Juan Manuel Santos will present the Land Restitution Law to the Congress, that aims at returning these Colombians to their former homes.
