Colombia and Chile start Free Trade Agreement

The Free Trade Agreement between Colombia and Chile starts this month after several years of negotiation. The agreement seeks to improve the commercial possibilities of both countries giving incentive to the development in areas such as information technologies and services, construction and ecotourism. The trading benefits of the treaty apply not only to products but also to services, and it establishes a regulatory framework for investments, along with environmental and labor standards.
