Colombian jewelers to make 2010 World Cup official ring

Jewelers from the north eastern Province of Santander will design and fabricate the official South Africa 2010 World Cup ring. They have recently signed a contract that states that the local jewelers will have to make 700.000 of these rings for the prestigious cup. There will be three versions of the ring, in platinum, gold and a silver-gold blend, and it is expected that they will cost between US$1000 and US$24.000. The rings will only be available in FIFA and Oro - Colombia stores.
