Colombian singer Shakira inaugurates school in Barranquilla

The fifth school from the Foundation ‘Pies Descalzos’ that the popular Colombian singer Shakira leads was inaugurated Tuesday in Baranquilla. The school was designed for 1800 students with limited economical resources and has an extension of 13.900 square meters. The project was worth around six million dollars, out of which Shakira donated a 60%.
