Colombian viceminister of Defense resigns

Sergio Jaramillo, viceminister of Defense, presented his resignation to Gabriel Silva Lujan, Colombia's Minster of Defense. Jaramillo is known for his work in the demobilization processes with the paramilitary groups. He was also part of the team who created and implemented President Uribe's Democratic Security policy. His replacement has not been announced.
