European Parliament seeks clarification for the DAS espionage

Members of the European Parliament's Green Party asked the government to explain why the DAS (the Colombian intelligence agency) was illegally taping judges, journalists and politicians in 2008. The Parliament advised the European Union not to sing the free trade agreement with the country (scheduled for May 18) if the authorities don’t clarify these allegations.
