7 de enero de 2011

President Juan Manuel Santos announced that Colombia will maintain the State of Economic, Social and Ecological Emergency until January 28 in order to attend the winter emergency. After a cabinet council held on Thursday, Santos issued three new decrees concerning education, work and health, and the extension of the State of Emergency. The government also determined that the maximum speed in the roads will be 100 kilometers per hour (62 miles) instead of 120 (74), as was established.
