Colombian singer Juanes took home five Latin Grammy awards yesterday night. Among them, best album of the year, best male pop album, song of the year, best short video, and best recording of the year. He was already the artist with the most Latin Grammys; he will keep this position and now has 17 gramophones. Other Colombians also shined at the awards. The philharmonic orchestra of Bogotá won the instrumental Grammy, Peter Manjarés and Sergio Luis won best vallenato/cumbia, and Cholo Valderrama took home best folklore record.
