Lowest inflation rate in 44 years

September was the month with the lowest inflation in Colombia rate since 1964. It fell 0,19%. The index of prices to the consumer (IPC) in now of 0,27% which is lower than it was at the same time last year. The DANE (National Administrative Department of Statistics) reported that from January to September of this year the IPC located itself at 6,53%. For the 12 months before that this rate had been up to 7,57%. The two groups that have experienced the biggest growth have been housing and education.
