The Colombian was elected this Tuesday in an extraordinary meeting of the Interamerican Development Bank’s Board of Governors. 35 of the 48 members voted for Moreno, who will be in charge of the task for the next five years. He was elected for his first presidency at the multilateral organism in 2005 and this year he was the only candidate. During his possession speech, Moreno stated that this will be a decade devoted to Latinamerica and the Carribbean.
