‘Meteorite’ seen in Santander department.

“A giant fireball” was seen on Sunday by locals of Colombia’s central Santander department, who claim to have heard a strong explosion noise after the sight. “Something happened, but we aren’t clear about what it was. There’s a lot of speculation. I my self heard the noise and thought it was a bomb”, said Horacio Serpa, Santander’s governor, to the media.
