New appointments in the army

After 27 members of the military were removed yesterday, because of the disappearance of people who were then murdered and then put in lists of insurgent fighters who were supposedly killed in combat, there are already new appointments in the Army.

In the seventh division set in Antioquia, which was under the command of general Roberto Pico Hernández, general Juan Pablo Rodríguez Barragán will take charge temporally.

To the 30th brigade of Norte de Santander general Paulino Coronado will be replaced by colonel Roberto Angulo Pardo, commanding officer and chief of the general staff.

And the direction of the II division, formerly in the hands of general José Joaquín Cortés, will be assumed by the current commander of the 18th brigade.
