New road could join Colombia and Venezuela

Álvaro José Soto, head of Colombia's National Concession Institute (Inco), announced on Monday that Colombia will try to build a road which could join the main port on the Pacific Ocean, Buenaventura, with the principal city in Eastern Colombia, Cúcuta, on the border with Venezuela  "The roadworks should be finished by 2012", said Soto, who also stated that the road will be 1,800 kilometres long.
