The once very luxurious country estate of drug trafficking kingpin Pablo Escobar, Hacienda Napoles, has become a land that will house families of demobilized former combatants of different subversive armed groups in Colombia. This project that was inaugurated yesterday, organized by the government’s office of reintegration of former illegal combatants, will involve 85 families that are planned to produce 480 tons of spicy peppers that will be commercialized by Comexa Foods, a Colombian company that produces spicy sauces.
