President Santos appoints new ambassadors

Colombian President, Juan Manuel Santos, appointed two new ambassadors to China and Cuba. Former Vice-President of Andrés Pastrana’s government, Gustavo Bell, will be representing Colombia in the Caribbean island, while entrepreneur Carlos Urrea will be doing the same in the Asian country. Colombian government will open three new embassies in the next months as part of the aim of “positioning Colombia in the different international settings”, President Santos said. They will be placed in Indonesia, Turkey and Trinidad and Tobago.
