Red alert in Nariño after eruption of Galeras volcano

Early Friday morning, the most active volcano in Colombia erupted again. Located in the southern part of the country, Galeras had also erupted a week ago, causing the authorities to raise the alert to red and order the evacuation of some of the 7,000 people who live in the surrounding areas. No casualties have been reported.
