Santos demanded daily results from the Armed Forces

17 de agosto de 2010

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos asked the Police and the Army forces to produce “military results every day on different fronts, because that’s what will lead us to ultimate peace”. He added that his government won’t appoint a Peace Commissioner until the FARC releases all of their hostages. "We can not lower our guard”, said Santos after meeting senior military leaders in Bogotá. “We want more results. The armed forces have allowed us to talk about peace and development with their achievements so far".
