Santos meets Peruvian president in Lima

President-elect Juan Manuel Santos met Peruvian president Alan García on Tuesday as part of the Latin American Tour he is carrying out around the region. The two presidents strengthened ties during the meeting, which was held in Lima. Santos later stated that he hoped “that friendship can be the common denominator for all other countries because that is the way that two countries can and must fight together for common goals".
