Seven die in attack in northeastern Colombia
Convención, located in Norte de Santander province, was the place where a bomb attack killed three police officers and three civilians earlier this morning. Authorities believe the ELN guerrilla group is behind it. Early reports are that the policemen where ambushed.
Apparently, they received a phone call informing of two dead bodies in the highway. As they arrived to the location the car bomb exploded.
15 other civilians were injured in the attack.
