Colombian singer, Juanes, received the Honorific National Peace Prize for his social work, foundations and constant work towards peace yesterday in a touching ceremony. The citizens of Union Peneya, a violent village in Caquetá, who decided to return to their town after being displaced by violence a couple of years ago, won the National Peace Prize for their courage and bravery. In his speech Juanes said that every Colombian could work towards peace in a small and personal way.
