The European Union calls out to Colombia on Human Rights issues

6 de noviembre de 2008

The European Union made a call out to Colombian president Alvaro Uribe asking him to support and hand out the resources needed to solve the situation of the victims in the country and carry out the laws of “justice, truth and reparation”.

They also send a message demanding the release of all people who are kidnapped by the guerrilla and a solution to the armed conflict. The E.U. denounced attacks to union members and human rights fighters, as well as the appearance of what they call new paramilitary groups.
