There are less migrant latin workers in the US

According to the Pew Hispanic Center, about 234,000 hispanic workers who immigrated in the 90s stopped working in the US last year because of the financial difficulties caused by the crisis.

“The only reason the size of this group can change is if some of them die or some of them go back. This drop is higher than a normal death rate would be”, Rackesh Kocchar, the author of the study, told the Associated Press.

According to official United States figures, about 7.2 million immigrants from Latin America entered the US between 1990 and 2000. “It seems like (Latinos) are in a time for a decision here, either to stay or to go back,” Kocchar added.
