U.S. commitment with FTA is “still valid”: ambassador Mckinley

Peter McKinley, the recently appointed U.S. ambassador in Bogotá said his government’s commitment with the Free Trade Agreement with Colombia is “still valid”. McKinley who aims at strengthening economic relations between the two countries, added in an interview with a radio station that the United States president, Barack Obama “has highlighted the importance of reaching the agreements” with Colombia, Korea and Panama, that are still being studied at the American Congress.
