WHO includes Colombia in the list of countries with confirmed cases of swine flu

Colombia’s social protection minister, Diego Palacio, confirmed the first case of a Colombian with swine flu. He lives in Zipaquirá, near Bogotá, is now in a stable condition after spending a week in Cancún, México. After discussing the case, the World Health Organization included Colombia in the list of countries with confirmed cases of swine flu.

Palacio also confirmed that 220 other cases are being evaluated in the country (of people with symptoms related to the flu) to find if there are more Colombians infected with the influenza.
