The Colombians needed a victory to remain in contention for a place in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt, and they played some good football before securing the three points against Paraguay.

Colombia won the match with first half goals from Hernan Pertuz and Sherman Cardenas. While Hernan Perez scored for the Paraguayans in the second half.
