Shakira's "She Wolf" video: Better than Beyonce?

It's "kind of a joke, but I guess it works," says another.

I think it's all that twisting and contorting she does in that cage that has people's minds all in a jumble.

Here's the verdict from James Montgomery on MTV.com.

"... Having now watched it about 15 times, I'm hard-pressed to say more than 'Wow!' Seriously, it's one people will be talking about for a long time," Montgomery writes.

"Why? Well, basically because it's either the most insanely brilliant (or brilliantly insane) song you'll hear in 2009. The beat could best be described as a gloriously slinky update on every Italian disco tune recorded in 1979: all slithering beats, funky bass, horny horns, snapping snares and even a handclap or 13.
