Venezuela, Colombia extend electricity supply agreement
Apr 08 -- Power utilities Isagén (Colombia) and Edelca (Venezuela) extended for another six months a contract whereby the Colombian state-owned company supplies electricity to Edelca, announced Isagén on Tuesday.

The extension came following a first transaction between September 2008 and February 2009, a period where Isagén exported 154 gigawatt / hour (Gwh). This figure represented a sales record to Venezuela, according to a press release.
