Ecopetrol has the most important share in Colombian stock market

The Colombian stock market has announced that it defined the new general index for the Colombian stock market for the current trimester that goes from October to December, better known as the basket of shares of the IGBC. Ecopetrol continues being the most representative share with a 47.39% of participation. This is a significant improvement since it had 37.09% in the last basket of shares.
Other important shares in the IGBC are Suramericana de Inversiones, which holds the second place with 8.06%, Bancolombia (5,26%), preferencial de Bancolombia (5,21%), Fabricato (4,87%) and ISA (3,90%).
