2 de abril de 2009

In order to boost commercial exchanges with India, the Colombian government is looking to establish a Free Trade Agreement with the Asian country. A previous agreement has already been signed by the Colombia-India Chamber of Commerce and it constitutes a “step on the road toward an FTA with India”, said Jaime Mantilla, president of the Chamber.

On 2008, the commercial exchanges between Colombia and India were worth $600 U.S million dollars. The imports from India, on the other hand, were about $528.5 million showing a notorious increase compared to the $475.8 million in 2007
