Bogotá would be trying out the system in early 2010. City Councilmember Carlos Ferreira was recently in Spain where he met with prepaid bicycle system operators in Barcelona and Sevilla. A delegate will be traveling to Colombia in June to expose the advantages of such system and study its feasibility in Bogota.
