Colombia’s national football team had to win against Bolivia to continue alive in the World Cup Qualifiers, and they did with a 2-0 victory. Macnelly Torres scored the first goal after 27 minutes with a good shot that beat goalkeeper Carlos Arias and Wason Rentería made it 2-0 shortly before the end with a header. Both Uruguay and Chile, Colombia’s main opponents for a spot in the South Africa World Cup, won their respective matches. To keep the dream alive, Colombia must beat Venezuela on Tuesday, in Puerto Ordaz.
