Housing Minister and telecommunications agency (Conatel) director, Diosdado Cabello, said that TV station RCTV International, shut down by the government on Saturday, have had support from Colombia. Cabello said “the political links have to be searched” and pointed out the “goals of the Colombian government in Venezuela, the Colombian companies, the Colombian oligarchy and its links in Venezuela”. The channel was taken off because it refused to broadcast President Hugo Chávez speeches.
