Colombia takes back an oilfield from OVL
oct 14 -- Colombia has snatched a part of the oil property ONGC Videsh Ltd and China's Sinopec had together acquired for USD 850 million two years ago.

Colombian national oil company Ecopetrol last week took control of the Teca oilfield that was part of Omimex de Colombia which OVL-Sinopec consortia had acquired from Texas-based Omimex Resources for USD 850 million in September 2006, industry sources said.
