Santos expects no one to damage Colombian ties with Venezuela

11 de octubre de 2010

Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos said that Colombian relations with its neighboring countries are working well. “I hope no one will intervene to see if we can go back to fighting (with Venezuela), because that’s not our intention. On the contrary, all we want is to restore relations”, said the president from Cartagena, where he met a group of Brazilian businessmen. He also spoke about Colombia’s relations with Ecuador: “They are developing fine. I expect that relations will be completely normalized by the end of the year”.
