110 million tons of coal discovered in La Guajira

The brazilian firm MPX has announced it has found a huge coal deposit in La Guajira province, located in the northern coast of Colombia. Preliminary figures show 110 million tons of coal in the region. Other terrain studies have found the territory "very promising" and even more coal could be excavated.
