Colombia has new minister of Defense

The Colombian government announced that Gabriel Silva will become the new minister of defense, in replacement of Juan Manuel Santos, who aspires to be a presidential candidate. Silva, who is a former Ambassador to the United States, had up to now been in charge of Colombia’s National Federation of Coffee Growers.
