Atletico Huila padded their lead atop the standings in the Colombian Finalizacion tournament after beating Envigado 3-2 at the Guillermo Plazas Alcid in the city of Neiva. German Cordoba scored a brace and Nicolas Ayr scored the eventual game-winner for Huila.

Atletico Nacional continue to stay in pursuit of Huila after they drew against Tolima at the Atanasio Girardot. Giovanny Moreno scored a brace for the Verdolagas, but that would not be enough as the Piajos would earn the points for a second consecutive time in the city, but Nacional's unbeaten streak extends to ten.

The marquee match-up of the day would take place in Cali as the city's derby would take place. Deportivo Cali continued on their four-match winning streak at home by coming back from a 2-1 deficit playing at home against cross-town rival America. The Azucareros scored the game-winner courtesy of penalty kick by Juan Carlos Marino.

America took the lead towards the end of the first half when Donald Millan and Adrian Ramos helped the Red Devils take the lead right before heading to the dressing room. Duver Riascos would equalize early in the second half and that would set the stage for Marino's winner.
