Along with their ministers of foreign affairs, mining and energy, and trade, to hammer out issues of trade and investment, hydrocarbons, bi-national projects, and infrastructure this weekend.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez stressed Saturday that trade with Colombia last year totaled more than $7 billion, and said that if it continues favorably the figure could soon reach more than $10 billion.
Chavez arrived Saturday in the Colombian city of Cartagena to meet with Colombian President Alvaro Uribe for talks centered on bilateral trade. He was accompanied by half a dozen ministers from the economy sector.
