More politicians could have received IOU’s from Cajanal embezzlers

The president of Congress Hernán Andrade will have to explain the IOU’s he received from the men who embezzled Cajanal, the state pension fund, in front of the Colombian Senate today. The attorney general’s office (Procuraduría) will also start an investigation of Andrade’s case. They are also investigating different cases of loans to politicians, all of which apparently turned to Armando Caberera, who has been in jail for the last couple of years, for relatively large sums of money they received in cash.
